Opening Statements by the Nuon Chea Defence team

On 23 November 2011 Nuon Chea addressed the Khmer Rouge Tribunal. His lawyers Son Arun and Michiel Pestman were subsequently not permitted to make opening statements on behalf of their client.

Today therefore, the Nuon Chea Defence team requested that the written versions of these statements be added to the case file.
